The series of Maximum Ride books, by James Patterson.  Great characters, good plot, some humor, and lots of action.

Though it sucks that the director of freaking Twilight is directing the movie.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Those books were awesome, exception being the latest one which took place in Antartica, it seemed like hack writing. Shame that the director of Twilight is in charge, I hope that it was only that his resource material was so poor quality that he failed so miserably.

Hmm, I really donno, I like a lot of books...
Like, the ones written by Tamora Pierce have to probably be my favourite, just because I'm into that stuff.
However I'm currently reading one called 'The Hollow People' which is marvelous as well.
So I can't choose ^^

My faverite is The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. it's one of the greatest book series ever, and it's a big inspiration for my writing/RPing style.
